Defy Strappy Bra

The material is so soft and comfortable. As you can see with the picture the straps are very thin, so you have to rely on the fit of the band to hold everything in place. So definitely stick to your size and enter in your band and cup size for the quiz, to help you pick what size to buy.

I picked up the Defy Strappy Bra in the Lava color recently, and it’s definitely a standout piece. Here’s what worked for me, and where it fell a bit short.

What’s Great
• Color & Design: Lava is such a rich, vibrant shade. It pops without being overly neon, and looks awesome layered under open-backs or just paired with darker gymwear. The bandeau style with spaghetti straps gives it a clean, minimal aesthetic that’s flattering. 
• Comfort & Feel: The fabric is soft to the touch. It’s lightweight, stretchy, and has a good blend (95% polyamide / 5% elastane), so it moves well with you. The removable pads are a nice touch. 
• Support: It offers medium support, which is decent considering its bandeau design. It stays in place better than I expected for light to moderate movement. 
• Sizing: True to size mostly. If you want a snug fit, sizing down seems to give a firmer hold; sizing up gives a bit more breathing room. 

What Could Be Better
• Support for high-impact: While it handles everyday wear and lower intensity activities nicely, it doesn’t quite cut it for high-impact workouts. The thin straps limit how much lift/support you’ll get.
• Strap Identity & Durability: The spaghetti straps are cute, but I’d be watching how they hold up over time. Thinner straps often can dig, stretch, or show more wear.
• Reveal & Coverage: Because of the bandeau cut and strap layout, it’s not super modest. If you prefer more coverage or are bustier, you might find it less supportive or feel it shifts more during movement.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Defy Strappy Bra in Lava is a great pick if you want something stylish, comfy, and moderately supportive. It’s perfect for light-to-medium workouts, casual wear, or layering. If you need something for more intense training, you might consider something with more structure. But for what it is—it looks amazing and delivers.

Loved the colour

I would give it 5 stars but it’s not the most flattering design in the world but for what it is I still love the sleek design. Straps are tiny which I prefer and surprisingly has held up really well!
